USAA - A Living Hell for Good People

Typical scenario: Been with USAA for 31 years. Auto, home, life, investments, credit cards. Captain USAFR (ret). Served my country well. Never filed a claim for anything. Always paid bills on time. For the past year, USAA Collections and USAA collection agents have hounded us over a dispute with another USAA member and former step-son from a short term marriage in the late 80s. Although we tried to explain to USAA that we haven\'t had any contact with our step-son since 1989 (19 years ago!), they don\'t believe us. They call our home and office demanding the whereabouts of this bad USAA member. We give them the same information over and over again. We don\'t know. If we knew, we would gladly give them what they need just to get them off our backs. We are God-fearing, Bible-believing, evangelical Christians. We don\'t lie or manipulate information about anyone. We honor God and tell the truth in all matters. Our proven character and exemplary membership with USAA are completely ignored. We still get rude, demanding, and manipulative phone calls from USAA Collections and collection agents making our lives miserable, exasperating, and onerous. We are preparing documents for a harrassment suit against USAA and are seeking another insurance and investment company for GOOD PEOPLE. We have tremendous empathy and sympathy for those members who have filed claims with USAA only to be treated like dung in a living hell. So much for the slogan, \
