Random rate changes
I have insured my vehicles with USAA for most of the last decade, including the last 2 years. I am now shopping around for a new company, since USAA seems to think it\'s okay to raise my premiums by $90 a year (almost a 9%increase) for no reason at all. Neither my wife or I have EVER had any traffic violations or accidents. We\'ve never had a claim for anything other than a cracked windshield that needed replacement, and no claims within the last year. We haven\'t changed what vehicles they\'re insuring (a 2000 Toyota Sienna and a 1993 Ford Ranger).
I noticed they tried to hide this premium increase by spreading it around various coverages for both vehicles. They also tried to be extra sneaky and reduce the amount they offer for discounts that I have long been qualified to receive.
