My two cents about USAA
First I've found that if you live in the Southeast your claims process will be bad compared to claims processed out of San Antonio. USAA has raised its deductible on roof repair to almost $2200, so the gentleman who thinks they are great about shingles, it will not happen in my state or county. Second, several years ago my son was involved in an accident. No one was really hurt. But I got sued. It went to arbitration. The first words out of the the guys mouth. Well when I called USAA about my medicial bills they said, File Suit if you don't like it. So he did. The Tampa office who processes claims for the South East is really REally bad. From the Car claims to house claims they are number one jerks. And Finally there is the day I recieved this notice about my bill with someone else's name and bank account on it. Yeap. Took me weeks to get that one strait. I'm very disappointed about the quality of USAA service. But specifically the Tampa office.
