Worst Customer Service to Loyal Customers
I filed a claim for vandalism damage to my Mercedes Benz on 9/17/07. An initial desk review was to occur but due to the level of damage and the type of paint work required, the costs were approaching $6K and USAA decided to have a 3rd party field appraisal company do an estimate on thier behalf. The 3rd party appraiser took several days to come out and conduct the appraisal at my office, then took 7 business days to get an incomplete quote back to USAA. There is a #3,500 difference in the estimates and I'm having to play intermediary to move the issued forward. USAA has promised, several times, to have a field specialist contact me and the body shop but this has not happened as promise a week ago. Every time I call into USAA I get a new claims rep and have to explain the story and get the same apology and promise to move things forward. This has happened 5 times now sine 9/17. This is the worst customer service I have experienced in all of my 21 years of being a USAA "member"! Watch out!
