Got into a wreck with a USAA holder a few months back. Little guy pulled out in front of us trying to cross 4 lanes of HEAVY traffic. His car has a few scratches but my car had it's front bumper ripped off and both head lights fell out.

Called to file a claim, they acknowledged that the guy was a holder and what not but refused to even give me a claim number until he called in the wreck. Tried to call in the guy but he said he had called it in. My insurance company tried to work with USAA but they got no where.

It took calling the police and my attorney and threatening both USAA and the guy with a lawsuit and charges to even get a claim filed. This was 4 months ago... Still waiting to get my car fixed.

If someone hits your vehcile, pray they aren't insured with USAA! Never have I ever been so mistreated Denied payment for rental car Very disappointed.... USAA - Hope you are never hit by their insured - nothing but headaches
