Ripped me off!
I used to be with Unitrin Direct while I was married. I got divorced and they would not let me drop my name from their policy because my X-wife was the main on it. She ran up the bill and was sent to collections. this was for car insurance. I also had my house insurance with them. When the time came to renew, I cancelled, but they already billed my mortgage company - which they paid. I did receive a refund, but I got stuck paying what was owed by my X-wife, which I was not allowed to take my name from! These guys deserve to be shut down for their practices, they ripped me off of over $300!!
