unitrin is just awful and has very rude claim adjusters

I am not insured by Unitrin, but was recently in an accident with one of their customers. Their customer ran a red light and smashed into the side of my car. It totaled her car, and caused frame damage to my Suburban. A police was called, to whom she admitted running the red light, and I have three witnesses who all told Unitrin that she ran the red light. Some how, Unitrin told me that it wasn't 100% their clients, and that I would be found partly at fault. I believe I was told "I have to believe that if you would have looked both ways just one more time before going, that maybe this wouldn't have happened, so it is a little bit your fault". Are you kidding me? Their 17 year old client was late to school, was speeding, and ran a red light! I told them that if I was found even 1% at fault, I would fight it and contact an attorney. They told me that if I wanted to contact an attorney that was fine, but they could do that too. I told them that I didn't want to contact anyone. I just wanted my car fixed and my rental car and any medical bills paid for. They've been just awful. My insurance company contacted the police and witnesses, and was told she was completely at fault. I am having to contact an attorney to get this resolved, as I just don't want to deal with their incompetence any more.
I understand that insurance companies are out their to protect themselves, but we pay insurance to have ourselves protected too. Unitrin drags it's feet during claims, and claims to not get copies of documents even when they have been faxed to them several times. When all else fails, they just won't call anyone back. Even in a case where fault is obvious to all, they do everything possible to not have to pay any claims. Be warned that Unitrin has horrible customer service, rude claims adjusters, loses paper work, and just is an awful company to have to do business with.
