I wanted to switch from US Agencies (slow pokes)to State Farm. I wento online and got a quote and was totally satisfied. The only problem was that they refuse to insure someone who has not had coverage for the entirety of the last 12 months. Since my insurance lapsed for 20 days, they told me to continue with what I had until the end of the year and they would be happy to insure me then if I wanted to switch. The rate was so much cheaper than what I had with US Agencies ($31 less per month for higher coverage) that I fully intend to switch eventhough they refused me at the time!
