I have had State Farm Auto Insurance for longer than I remember. In 2005, my husband and I each had a minor fender bender. We were dropped because "both of us having an accident in the same year indicates a problem in the family!" Give me a break, my husband has not had a ticket in 15 years or any other moving vehichle accident. I have not had a ticket in 13 years and 2 minor accidents in 4 years. In 2005, they only paid out $2000 in damages for both of the accidents my husband and I were in. This is crazy!



Also, in both instances, the bumpers were completely replaced, when they could have easily been painted. They were not dented or bent or damaged in any way except for small minor scatches from license plates. No wonder insurance rates are so high. They are completely willing to overpay for damages. I will never use this company again for anything and we are going to cancel every policy we have with them including homeowners insurance.
