After 20 years of paying State Farm for car insurance my car was stolen. It is now 68 days with no sign that they will pay my claim. They have investigated me, pulled my credit report, called my employer and an adoption agency that I have applied to to adopt a child. THey claim that they can't understand how a thief can steal a car without a key?????? WHen I related this to the police investigating this theft...they laughed and said "tell your insurance company to call us, it happens every day." I have now had to hire a lawyer to deal with them since they are not going to pay me any other way. So much for "you good neighbor" They are your worst nightmare.
