After five years of coverage, State Farm recently dropped my family auto policy because of some minor (<$800) back-in parking-lot incidents resulting me driving my SUV. In addition, my son had two wrecks, one of which should have not been his fault based on solid forensics, but State Farm caved in and paid off the other driver. Bottom line -- this wreck was charged as my fault.
Instead of dropping us out of the blue, a phone call from my agent would have been in order and maybe a rate increase. Interestingly, I now have several quotes from competitive providers that are less than State Farm's. Thank you, State Farm. I never would have shopped without your brusque treatment of my affairs.
