SAFECO SUCKS!!!!
I changed from Progressive to Safeco beause I thought I was getting a better rate. I went on-line and got a quote for 6 months. About a week after I called a representative to purchase the policy. At the time of purchase, I was told my premium actually decreased. 2 weeks after, I got a letter from Safeco saying my premium was increasing (by $350) because 2 claims showed up that didn't show up before and I could either pay it or find a new insurance company.
Usually, after a quote is given, and at the time of purchase, this is when your driving record is checked in detail. When I was about to purchase my policy I was told that the rate had decreased from the quoted price; and I assumed that my driving record was checked and that's how I got a reduction. Now after 2 weeks I'm being told they missed 2 claims and that it's my fault because I didn't tell them. On both claims, no money was paid out which make me thinks even more that. I WILL NEVER INSURE WITH THEM AGAIN!!!
