SAFECO is unethical

I was hit by a driver insured through SAFECO, and the moment that I contacted SAFECO I have gotten the run around. The driver admitted that he hit my car, so I called SAFECO to file the claim. First they wanted me to go to their auto repair shop, which is illegal. Then although the driver admitted to hitting my car, said that it was my fault. Now I have to get my insurance company involved because SAFECO does not want to pay the claim because money is its bottom line. The adjuster was so difficult to reach, was rude, and although I was hit denied my claim, and refused to even have an adjuster look at the damage to evaluate it. Please for your own good do not choose this company. They are unethical.
