Mercury is not your advocate, extremely deceptive claims service
My truck was totaled by a driver running a red light. Mercury refused to provide a rental car unless I paid a deductible. Even with the police report and the other driver taking responsibility. I paid for the rental car extra on the policy. Four days after the accident we were evacuated for the fires. We had no car and had to leave everything we owned behind. I had to retain an attorney because Mercury refused to take any action without me paying first.
