Scott must work for Mercury. This company is a nightmare. On December 31, 2004, I backed into a car that had parked behind me in a convenience store parking lot. On January 2, I reported the accident to my agent. I believed the issue to be taken care of. First, I started receiving irate calls from the claimee that Mercury was trying to weasle out of the claim. Then, I get a notice from my car finance company that Mercury had cancelled my insurance. I got no notice from Mercury. The damage to the car was a door panel -- no more -- perhaps $500 -- 800. Someone needs to do something about this group. They area travesty.
