First off, I had a great experience getting my car insurnce from Geico. I went online got the quote and then went into a local Geico agent to make sure I was getting all the coverage I would reasonably need. She was very nice and friendly.
But as a college student I move a lot and each time I move they jack up my rate. At first I thought it was because I moved into a worse neighborhood by their standards (5 blocks makes such a difference I'm sure). But then I moved from California( where I had to about double my coverage) and back to the same apartment I was living in Oregon and MY RATES STILL INCREASED! I called then to see what was going on and they pacified me with some bs answer. Now I'm moving again and now they say my rates are going from $594/yr to $780/yr same coverage. I'm done.
