Lousy Customer Service
I had to drop my ex-spouse from my policy that I created years ago and had added her to. Geico gave me the run around about sending me my refund for the difference since my balance had been paid in full. I had to have my ex-spouse call and authorize a refund to me for money I had paid. First this is unreal, second they sent me a check then later cancelled it and applied the amount as a credit to my account. Unknowingly, I deposited the check. Guess what it was returned unpaid and I was charge bank fees! Geico didn't take any responsibility. They only accused me of requesting a stop payment with Geico and having fees applied to my account. I NEVER DID THIS!
Take responsibility for your errors and pay the customer the money they are out!
I will now change companies. I do not appreciate the run around and inferior treatment I was given. I do not appreciate being treated like a second class citizen and or being accused of being dishonest. I am a professional and do not expect or accept this type of belittlement and poor treatment from anyone. I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSWHERE.
