Stick with the standards - Pass eSurance up!!
We purchased full coverage auto with eSurance.
No claims. No tickets. No vehicle changes. After six months, our "low-rate" skyrocketed. It literally tripled. We called to ask why and they said "underwriting" felt we were a higher risk. My husband is 45 and I am 40. No children drivers. Knock on wood - neither of us have had so much as a parking ticket in our lives. Never had an accident. Never had an auto claim - PERIOD. But we are high risk.
We asked for an underwriting review and they actually wrote and stated that they had overlooked something - and RAISED the premium another 38 bucks! Our premium went from 1052 every six months to
What a joke this company is. I will never recommend eSurance to anyone.
We went with a local insurance company that has been around for decades - Nationwide. Our policy is now CHEAPER than the initial premium with eSurance.
Thanks, but no thanks eSurance.
