Amica is Horrible
My wife was hit from behind by a driver insured by Amica. The Company denied liability, despite the fact that its insured received a citation for reckless driving. When the citation was brought to the company's attention, the Amica representative claimed that the driver was not insured by the company, and therefore, denied liability on this new found basis. When we challenged that excuse, the Amica representative then admitted liability and coverage, but denied our request for a rental vehicle (despite the fact that it is covered under the other driver's policy). Now, the company is refusing to replace my severely damaged vehicle--delaying resolution of the matter.
My advice is to stay away from Amica; and if you currently have coverage from Amica, consider changing.
