They don't like to pay when things happen
I had Amica for a number of years before my accident. Just before Catrina hit Louisiana, we had a terrible storm, and on my way to work that morning was literally washed off the road by high wind and hydroplaning. It totaled our truck,,, but Amica didn't. They opted for the cheap way out and had the frame straighted. The garage/dealership repeatedly told Amica that it wasn't a good idea to try to straighten the frame, as it would never be 100% and the truck would never be able to carry a load like it used to. The garage said that with the damage the truck sustained, it would come up with later problems. Amica didn't care. Now, 2 years later, the truck still wobbles a little, and we can't keep tires on it because it is always out of alignment. It must be aligned every couple of months. We are paying for a truck still that we can barely drive, and Amica said that they were proud to have done a good job.
