The company has a policy of not paying bona fide claims against them. I was involved in a car accident over one month ago which was a clear case of negligence on the part of their insured. They have stalled and delayed settlement of this claim. They have known for a month the circumstances of the case yet refuse to resolve it and pay a bona fide claim. Company's which do not honor bona fide claims or settle in reasonable time periods should be known to the consumer. I am a handicapped senior citizen and their behavior( my car was damaged) has made it difficult for me to transport my wife to her medical appointments. I want this behavior by Amica to be made known to the public. I have contacted the Massachusetts Attorney General's office and the Massachusetts Insurace Commission with my complaint. It is this type of corporate behavior that gives the Insurance Industry a bad name.
