So far, so good...
I have been with Amica for a little over a year. I was previously with State Farm and decided to shop around for lower premiums. It's not just the premium I researched, I also looked into customer reviews. Of all the companies I searched, Amica had the lowest premiums AND best customer service. Knock on wood, I have not had to file any claims with them yet, but I have spoken with the claims department, and they were extremely nice, just like the underwriting department. If I can't get ahold of my local office, there is always someone available in the home office to help me. The only complaint I have is that it is a credit based company. I don't have bad credit by any means, but I haven't done much in the past 6 months to establish any new credit and this effected my premium by about $300. Although, after looking around a little before my renewal in June, I still could not find anything for a better price. I plan to stay with Amica until I can find a company that can offer better premiums with the same customer service.
