I was hit by a driver with Amica insurance. By looking at the damage it was preety obvious that the vehical was near totaled . The adjuster claimed about $3500 to fix which was to anybody with a brain very low. Not one time has anyone at Amica returned my call ,they were authorizing repaires without my knowledge or consent. Like replacing the tires and charging me $185.00. They took away the rental vehical after about a month stating it was costing to much, state law say they must provide one until repairs are finished. My power windows and locks were working before the accident but not after they refuse to fix saying not accident related even though I was hit where the wires leave the door and go into engine compartment. After picking up the vehical the electrical is crazy door chime going off for no reason bulbs keep blowing radio in and out but of course they say thats not their problem. total repairs was about $7000 yet things worse then before accident the truck was going to be sold it has very low mileage but now it has thousands of $ worth of repairs that still arent done and a dimminshed value that they claim they dont have to pay , yet colorado law says they do. Amica should be ashamed of their practices I was not at fault and they will not step up to the plate and do what is fair and honest. Is it that hard for them to do what is right or do they take more time and money and heartache so I have to fight this with a lawyer what a shame!
