The claims adjuster I dealt with was a moron...

I had moved from my mother's home, in with my boyfriend (and had updated all info on their system) a month before my wreck but the adjuster sent all the info to my mother's address, delaying the payoff of my totaled car! The adjuster KNEW I lived w/my boyfriend-he even came to his house to see the wrecked car for God's sake!!! The car lot I got my car from is now calling me, demanding payment and wanting to know where their money is (only owe around $500 on it)!

I also had a hard time dealing with the adjuster, who treated me like a "dumb broad". I would call to discuss the payoff amount they were offering to me, because he tried to say that the tread on my tires didn't match, so they're knocking off almost $200 off my payoff...I tried to reason with the guy, but he wouldn't hear it from me. My boyfriend called, and he changed his tune. This guy even got to where he wouldn't answer my calls or call me back...but, he'd take my boyfriend's calls or call HIM back!!!! Chauvenist behavior I'd say.

The other adjuster (medical end) hasn't paid my bills or the bills of the persons I hit. (Yeah, MY fault-no one was hurt though)

I thought the whole point of auto insurance was for them to be on MY side...but, since it was my fault, maybe they wanted to distance themselves? Don't know and don't care...just know that I won't use them on my next vehicle.
