Premiums never decrease
I've had Allstate since 1980 & have never had a problem with a claim. The policy I get every 6months does a good job of explaining exactly what is rated (if you take the time to read it) Lately however, I have to leave several messages until my agent responds and I just noticed that the 6 month premium on my 1992 minivan is $400 and the premium on my 2001 truck is $484 & the limits are the same on both vehicles. I'm not rated for any surchargeable losses. It bugs me that my premiums never decrease unless I drop a vehicle or a driver-I hate to do it but now I'm shopping around.
