I was in an accident with an Allstate insured who had just settled her 3rd at fault accident in one year. I contacted my company after waiting a month for some kind of retribution from Allstate, an they said they were having trouble getting adjusters to call them back. So I called them and they sent me to a voice mail repeatedly. I actually went to an Allstate sales office and explained my problem to the agent. He said he could give me an 800 # to call for help, but he could not work on my claim. I told him I was NOT leaving until he got someone on the phone for me to talk to. It took HIM 1/2 an hour to get someone! Then when we got on the phone, the lady tried to tell me that I needed to talk to my specific adjuster! I explained AGAIN to her, and told her that I now had her personal number and would call every hour until someone helped me! It took another 2 weeks to get my car into the shop, and then they tried to refuse me rental service. Eventually I got itout of sheer persistence in being a bother! Those people don't keep ANYONE in good hands. Where is the assistance for the good drivers who were somehow sucked into an accident? I would never become an Allstate customer, and will always discourage others from doing so as well!
