I am appalled at the rude and nasty treatment I recieved when dealing with Allied's business policy side. One of their clients was working at our home removing debris from a storm. In the process they dumped a large tree limb on our storage shed...essentially wrecking any hope of using it again...leaks and the doors fell off. Prior to this, the storage shed was in good shape although not remarkable...used for storage. The adjustor called me and actually started by insulting my storage shed as a piece of junk before the accident (He had never seen it!) and usable after the accident and actually told me to put the doors back on their tracks which are bent beyond repair. Basically, I was told that I didn't have a claim and he tried hard to get out of it period. They even taped all of this conversation. If I were them, I'd be embarrassed! This claim has been miserable. Not only did the business NOT want to turn it in because they were afraid that their rates would go up and they have a deductible...the adjustor doesn't want to pay anything on the claim! and is minimizing the damage to the building by claiming the the building wasn't worth the deductibe. In the meantime, my lawn mover, rakes, etc are locked on my back porch as I don't have a garage. Storage buildings put together and delivered aren't cheap. I'm disgusted! I'll be honest...I've never been treated so badly by an insurance company.
