Loyal for 2 years, then DROPPED!
I have been with Allied Insurance for 2 years. During those 2 years, I never paid late, EVER. I always pay with my credit card, on the alliedisurance.com website, and had no incident. This month when I logged in to pay my monthly premium, the website wouldnt accept my payment, citing that it was "too late" and gave me a phone number to call. I called the phone number, and it seems there was an error the previous month in processing the payment, and my policy had been cancelled. I spoke to the gentlemen on the phone and asked him to look at my payment history, that I was never late in 2 years, and it was obviously a mistake. He said there was nothing I could do, and I was currently driving without insurance. I said I never received a notification telling me that my payment didnt go through, he said they werent required to give one, and I needed to call an agent and get reinstated elsewhere. I was very upset that I had been such a good customer for so long and it counted for nothing. I was dropped without even a letter telling me so. My payment history was great, impecable, but it didnt matter. I was just a number, and they didnt need my money.
