AARP Customer Service practically non-existant
I purchased Life Insurance through AARP underwitten by New York Life. I had my payments taken out of my account every month via ACH debit. Right after my January payment was taken out, I contacted the companies I have ACH debits with to give them my new Account# and Routing#. Same bank, different account.
Now it is March and they have neglected to debit my account for the monthly account. The other companies had no problem with the transition. I have contacted the customer service by phone, gave the the information and emailed them separately with the information again. I have received no answer back from the email and no payments have been taken out. I don't know what else to do to get them to take my money? This is supposed to be such a great organization and helping people over 50, I haven't seen a sign that they even care.
