Hood Flew up while driving.

I went out to my car one morning and it would not start but the needle on the speedometer spent around so I knew it was the battery. I called AAA and they sent a representative out to jump my car. I have a Jag and the rep initially thought the battery was in the front of the car. When he popped the hood and noticed that it wasn't there he went to the trunk. He jumped my car, told me my battery was corroded and needed to be replaced immediately because if I cut the car off chances are it may not start up again. I jumped in my car and pulled off right behind him heading for the Pep Boys so that I could replace the battery. While I'm driving down the highway my hood flies back into my windshield. I managed to get over to the shoulder. Luckily it was not during rush hour. The hood was dented and there was a crack in my winshield. The rep apparently neglected to go back and lock the hood once he discovered that the battery was in the trunk. I called AAA back and they sent out a tow truck. Initially the first rep that I spoke to regarding the matter was nice. She was concerned and her manager said that they would pay for the damages as well as reimburse me for a rental car until my car was repaired. Well, when we actually got the car to the dealership it was a whole other story. First, they tried to charge me for towing my car after I was almost killed because of their negligence. Then, they changed their story and said that they couldn't guarantee that they would pay for the damages to my car. They said they would have to do an investigation (whatever that means). It took two weeks for them to send someone out to the dealership to look at the car. This is the third week and my car is still sitting waiting to be serviced and I'm paying for rental cars out of my pocket. And to top it all off, the rep who initally came out to my home to jump my car lied and said he never opened the hood. These people are ridiculous. Sounds like it's time to get 7 On Your Side News involved. If they think they are getting away with not fixing my car they can forget it. If my car is not fixed and soon this will definitely be a lawsuit.
