Ridiculous processes & incompetent customer service reps
After watching those comparison commericals for 21st Century doing the comparison on how much cheaper than they were than Geico, I decided to give 21st a shot back in October. My problems started when I got a new job and my paydates are only twice a month so knowing that I could only pay during the middle of the month I received a cancellation notice and I paid the amount but asked about changing my due date, and I was told that the only way that I could do this was by having the policy re-written, and I was advised 3 times by 3 different agent's that I would not be required to pay another deposit, however, when it came time to do so, I was then required to pay another deposit. The customer service agent's overspoke me, and treated me like I had stole something. Needless to say, I told them if I had to pay another deposit I would much rather switch auto insurance companies which I did. I did eventually switch companies and went to Esurance, they may have been more expensive, but I much rather pay more money for quality service rather than less money and deal with people who raise my blood pressure.
